Last week there was a very special event at Agriturismo L'Assiolo. The farm was invaded...by musicians!
As is tradition at around this time of year (in the run up to 'Carnevale'), local folk musicians Ragnatela Folk Band, arrived at the farm to wish us all the best for the new year.
As you can see from this video, it's traditional for the owner to answer the door to the musicians who are already in full voice with their wonderful music.
Then the party begins, with lots of dancing, laughter, wine and of course FOOD! Even the local television station had come down to document the whole event and interview everyone.
It's things like this that makes the people of #Basilicata so unique and it's these sorts of special traditions that we'd like to share with you during your La Lucana experience.
Who knows, maybe it could be you answering the door to these musicians one day?
